Type Locality and Naming

Along the village of Lyakan, South Fergana. O.S. Vyalov, 1938 (89, p.92). Stratotype not specified.

Synonym: Lyakan Suite, Ляканская св.


Lithology and Thickness

Gray, pink, white limestones with layers of red clays. Thickness 20-50m.

It lies unconformably on the Paleozoic and conformably on the Muyan Fm

It is overlain conformably by the Kyzylpilyal Fm
